Jeremy T. Warner
Assistant Conductor
Jeremy T. Warner is currently in his second year of D.M.A Choral Conducting studies at the University of Memphis under the tutelage of Lawrence Edwards and most recently, Pu-Qui Jiang. Former teachers have included Ronald Boud, Richard Joiner, Stephan Höllwerth, Wolfgang Fuchsberger and summer studies at Eastman with William Weinert and Joseph Flummerfelt. He received his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Memphis in 2009 and his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition from Union University in 2005.
He has held the post of music director and conductor of various ensembles throughout the mid-south for over 10 years. During his 6-month residency in Salzburg, Austria, he conducted ensembles with the Mozarteum and Salzburg College. He currently serves as assistant conductor for University Singers, Chamber Choir, and the Memphis Symphony Chorus as well as holding chief conducting and performing posts in various area ensembles and church music departments.
