Concert Attire
You may choose from the options below:
Option #1
• A one- or two-piece black, ankle-length dress with long, three-quarter length, or short sleeves.
• A sleeveless dress worn with a jacket (long, three-quarter length, or short sleeves) is also acceptable.
• Long, black slacks (not jeans) and a top with long, three-quarter length, or short sleeves.
• A long, black skirt and a top with long, three-quarter length, or short sleeves.
Option #2
• Black Suit or Black Tuxedo (coat and pants), and a black Mandarin Collar Non-Pleated Shirt (no tie). The shirt should have black buttons.
You will need to provide your own Black Suit or Tuxedo but will need an official MSC concert shirt from Cousin’s Concert Attire.

We generally place a bulk order at the beginning of the season to reduce shipping costs. To participate in the bulk order, you will need to fill out an online form with your measurements. You will also need to pay $20.00 for your shirt through the Chorus Connection Payment Center. An e-mail with a link to the form and directions to make the payment will be sent to you soon.
While each singer's face and musicianship will shine through, our shared goal is aesthetic cohesion. Uniformity creates a professional visual presentation that supports the unity in sound that our chorus strives to produce. Please avoid extreme slits, textured designs, or highly reflective materials that will disrupt this polished and put-together appearance.
If you have any concerns about the appropriateness of your attire, please consult with Concert Attire Chair, Christine Hughes, for approval.
If your attire is deemed inappropriate, you may be asked to change before performing.
*Although there are no membership fees required to join the Chorus, we do ask that you purchase your attire. Scholarships are available to assist in the purchase of the dresses and tuxedos if needed. Ask for more information.
